A perfect alternate choice where you will avoid altitude sickness and trek to Everest as well. A short but a beautiful journey to the Everest region with an exceptional view of the tallest mountain in the world!
After an early morning breakfast, we will head to the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport for our flight to Lukla. The flight is very scenic as we can see an amazing view of Langatng and the Annapurna Himalayan range. Upon arrival to the Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla, we will meet up with our other crew members and begin our trek through the flourishing village of Lukla. We will trek 200m downhill to Thado Koshi River and cross a suspension bridge where the view of Mt. Kusum Kangru looks impressive. Soon after, we will cross a small Buddhist village; Ghat, leading us to Phakding. The trek today will be short and enjoyable as we’ll be acclimatizing to the weather. With spare time in our hands, we may visit the local monasteries around. Overnight at the lodge with included meals (B+L+D).
A long trekking day awaits for us today. We will begin our trek early morning along the northern bank of Dudh Koshi River crossing many suspension bridges over it, including the Hillary suspension bridge as well. We will be trekking in forested trails leading us to a small Sherpa village known as Monjo. Contnuing the trek we will arrive at the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park check post and have our permits registered. The trail climbs through thick and dense forests making it challenging yet fun for us. This is also when we will get the first sight of Mt. Everest. Further trekking, we will finally arrive at Namche Bazaar; a famous Sherpa town or the gateway to Everest. Overnight at the lodge with included meals (B+L+D).
After reaching a higher elevation, today we will be acclimatizing at Namche Bazaar. Trekkers may wish to explore this famous Sherpa town as it includes numerous cafes and restaurants with wifi, souvenir and gear shops, pubs etc. Moreover, we have optional hikes planned to visit the Sagarmatha National Park visitor center and an astonishing hike to Khumjung and Khunde. It is another Sherpa settlement an hour away from Namche Bazaar.To get an amazing view of Mt. Everest, we will also hike up to Everest Hotel. After a proper acclimatization, we will head back to our lodges and prepare ourselves for the next day. Overnight at the lodge with included meals (B+L+D).
We will be trekking up to Tengboche after an early morning breakfast. We will trek high above the Dudh Koshi River up to Tengboche. On the clear days, we will get a spectacular view of Everest and the surrounding peaks. Trekkers have often spotted local wildlife like musk deers, Himalayan Thar, pheasants etc. The trail then drops down as we cross the Dudh Koshi River. We will further trek through a rigorous pine forests to the monastery of Tengboche then to a meadow with surrounding lodges. From here the peak, Ama Dablam is seen beautifully. Overnight at the lodge with the included meals (B+L+D).
The trail to Namche Bazaar takes us through forests where we may eye a wild life like pheasants, musk deer, mountain goats or even snow leopard. We will be climbing on the steep slope and winding through several bands. We will pass prayer flags hung along the way and chortens. As we are heading back, we can click pictures and enjoy the view of tip of Everest and back side of Lhotse. After finally arriving to Namche Bazaar, we will head to our lodges and rest. Overnight at the lodge with included meals (B+L+D).
After the breakfast, we will be hiking down a steep trailthat descends to the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then we continue walking over several local villages. We will walk most through Dudh Koshi River valley and surroundings. Upon reaching at Lukla, freshen up at your hotel and relax. Evening, you could have a party with your trekking crew as it is your celebration of successful Everest Panorama Trek also the last night in the Everest Region.
If all goes according to the schedule, we will be flying back to Kathmandu early morning after breakfast. After the arrival in Kathmandu, it is entirely up to you what you’d want to do. There are options like exploring the Kathmandu city and its UNESCO world heritages site. We have experienced guides who can take you on tour of the city. Overnight at your selected in Kathmandu.
